What is Daily stop
The loss for the day after which you stop trading until tomorrow. It protects you from a streak where each decision is worse than the last.
How it works
ETH 15m, 17.06.2024: three longs in a row — three stops, −3R in 225 minutes. A −2R limit would have stopped you after the second.
Example
A 3R daily stop at $100 risk: after −$300 on the day, no new trades. The Pact marks any trade past the limit as a rule break.
Common mistake
Lowering the daily stop "for one last trade" — that is tilt.
