What is POI — point of interest
A zone marked in advance where you are prepared to look for an entry: an FVG, an OB, a range edge, liquidity. You do not enter just because price is there — you wait for confirmation.
How it works
Example
Plan for the day: POI — equal lows at 62,650 and the FVG above them. Sweep plus MSS — look for an entry; no MSS within 10 candles — remove the markup.
Common mistake
Marking ten zones on the chart: one will work, and it will feel like you knew it.
