What is Short
A trade on a drop: sell now, buy back cheaper. On futures you do not need to own the coin — the position opens against margin.
How it works
BTC 15m short, 05.05.2026: stop above the sweep, target at the range low.
Example
Short from 81 475, stop 81 810 above entry, target 80 940 below: 335 $ of risk, 535 $ of target per BTC.
Common mistake
Placing a short's stop below entry — a short's stop always sits above.
