Glossary
What is Weekend holding
A rule on whether a position may stay open between Friday and Monday; crypto trades around the clock, but a firm can still demand you close everything.
How it works
Example
The rule: everything closed by 21:00 on Friday. A long with $250 risk sits at −$100 floating with the stop still far. You close at market and book −$100, which is −0.4R.
Common mistake
Leaving a trade over the weekend "because the market is open": the firm's rule applies whether or not the market is.
