What is Return to zone (mitigation)
Price comes back into the FVG or OB after the impulse. Model entries are looked for here — with a stop beyond the zone or beyond the sweep.
How it works
BTC 1h: at 12:00 price came back into the FVG, closed above and made a new high.
Example
FVG 69 668–70 724. At 12:00 a return to 70 588 — inside the zone, close at 71 340. At 14:00 a new high at 72 633.
Common mistake
Parking a limit in the middle of the zone with no stop beyond it: the return can cut straight through.
