Glossary
What is Order book
The list of resting buy (bid) and sell (ask) limit orders by price. A market order fills by "eating" orders from the book.
How it works
Example
0.5 BTC rests on the ask at 62,961 and 2 BTC more at 62,965. A 1 BTC market buy fills in parts at both prices.
Common mistake
Trusting large resting orders: they can be pulled a second before price touches them.
