What is Breakout
A candle close beyond a level that had been holding price. A real breakout holds: price does not come back through the level.
How it works
ETH 1h: a close above the level at 00:00 on 28.05.
Example
The level is 1 838. The 00:00 candle on 28.05 closed at 1 849 — above it, with its body.
Common mistake
Buying the breakout on the spike candle: the stop behind the level is already far away, risk is bloated.
