What is Daily reset
The moment the firm starts a new day: the daily limit is recalculated from the balance at that point, not from midnight in your own local time zone.
How it works
Example
The reset is at 23:00 your time. At 22:50 the balance is $98,000 after a −$2,000 day, and a new one starts at 23:00. A 5% limit off the day's opening balance: 98,000 × 0.05 = $4,900.
Common mistake
Counting the day by your own midnight: part of the loss is already in the firm's last day and part in the new one.
