What is Trend
The direction of structure: in an uptrend highs and lows rise, in a downtrend they fall. A trend lives until its last significant low (or high) is broken.
How it works
BTC 4h, October 2024: two BOS up — the uptrend continues.
Example
Lows 64 800 → 66 666 → 68 010 and highs 68 424 → 69 000: each one higher than the last — an uptrend.
Common mistake
Calling two candles in one direction a trend: a trend is a structure of highs and lows.
