Consistency and payout rules

Pass a challenge without a rule break: know your room to every limit before entry.

5 min · 7 steps

  1. Step 1 · Rule

The consistency rule checks how your profit is built.

Your best day can't be more than 25% of total profit. Here it's 37.5% of $8 000.

The share and the method are an example. Your program may use another share and another base, so check your agreement.

  2. Step 2 · Payout

A day that's too good can block a payout.

The account survives and the payout waits: other days have to dilute the best one. You're $4 000 short.

  3. Step 3 · Work it out

How much profit is missing to get the share in line?

Example: five days are closed and the best one is over the allowed share. How much more profit do other days need to add?

    • Allowed best-day share25%
    • Profit over five days$8 000
    • Best day$3 000

This one is a calculation task: pick an answer from the options and the lesson checks it by calculation.

  4. Step 4 · Today

Before the trade, work out how much profit is safe today.

Past days made $6 000. You can take up to $2 000 today and keep the best-day share within 25%.

  5. Step 5 · Work it out

How much can you take today?

Example: four even days are behind you and you're about to trade. How much profit can you take without breaking the share?

    • Allowed best-day share25%
    • Each of the four days$1 500
    • Past days together$6 000

  6. Step 6 · Daily cap

There can also be a cap on a single day, set from the target.

With a cap of 40% of the target, a day over $3 200 won't count. Your best day is under it but still breaks the share.

  7. Step 7 · Rule

Before you close a winning trade, check the best-day share.

I check the best-day share before closing a win

The item goes into your pre-entry checklist. The platform doesn't check it, so you do.
