What is Candle
Price over one time slot: open, high, low and close (OHLC). The body runs from open to close, the wicks reach the extremes.
How it works
BTC 4h, 21.07.2024: the 16:00 candle with a long lower wick.
Example
The 4h candle at 16:00 on 21.07.2024: open 67 164, high 67 713, low 65 777, close 67 422. It closed above the open, so it is a bullish candle.
Common mistake
Deciding on an unclosed candle: until it closes, its body and wicks can still change.
